Weekly Update Change

We have decided to change our policy on Weekly updates, as it never turns out the way we predict. We will be adding a timeline to our sites for all existing projects, and future projects. We will report what we can, so here is what changed this past week.

Zetamex now offers its very own currency, based off the DTNLS currency. We are still installing our own paypal module part, and this service is only available to grid clients. This is also at no extra charge, but also come with an AS IS policy.

We are proud to announce that AviWorlds is the first grid to be using this currency, End of the Metaverse is next for installation. This currency module can be used as play more or a live currency.

New Grid-Press & MetaJabber

The new Grid-Press has been launched, this time you can have your already existing blogs automatically reblogged into the feed. The new Grid-Press is designed to help grids, hosting companies, and more advertise themselves more actively. We will log ourselves directly into your feed, then we will let our system just pull that feed.

The feeds that are reblogged, we refer all that traffic back to you for them to read the full articles. Grid-Press is now more of your opensim news paper, redirecting you to the articles you are interested. We are currently in testing phases, soon we will be adding the ability to sort, featured, and more with blogs that are imported. We hope to see you all at the new and improved Grid-Press.com

Zetamex is proud to announce that we have brought back free region hosting and even added free CPanel hosting. This means you can get real hosting from us completely free, or at least in turn for helping us create a new community at MetaJabber.com and we look forward to meeting you there. All zetamex services that include community support will be using MetaJabber, to encourage the growth of a central forum.

Everything is now back online, free and paid clients. Just note we are going through and clearing up our database here in the next few days and will be contacting free region owners as well as clients who are past due trying to get all our records sorted out as we are redoing our entire back end. We did the front end, now we are cleaning up the back end, it is really cluttered back here.

See all of you really soon, and watch out for your ZetaPanel login emails this weekend!

Update Progress

I would like to inform everyone that all PAID clients are back online, free regions are now in progress. We wanted to get paid clients back online as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, here is the updates that have been applied:

OSGrid Specific Clients:
  • Upgraded to latest release of OSgrid client
All Clients:
  • ZetaPanel preparations made in the code

Updates & ZetaPanel Installations

Zetamex is having a brief service interruption that effects all simulator and standalone clients! Simulators and standalones should be expected to be back online within the next 3-5 hours. We apologize, but to roll out the new version of ZetaPanel to ALL clients this is required for us to creating this interruption in service.

Again, my apologizes for this small blurp of downtime, however we need to get this pushed out and the best way to do it is this way.

Thank You,
Zetamex Staff
